Sunburst at the Lantern Centre

This is my latest set of panels, a 26 panel set around three sides of the raised roof of the meeting room in the Lantern Centre,a multicultural meeting place which aims to bridge current cultural and religious differences in the world. The room is used for meetings, theatre ,cinema screenings, poetry readings,in fact all kinds of creative comings together. The panels took about 7 weeks give or take.they measure 875mm by 500mm.Luckily all the windows were the same. The glass is different kinds,Cathedral,Baroque,Kokomo, flat, rippled.Even some bits of super expensive art glass. The room faces west so the sun sets right through the end four panels. It throws coloured reflections all over the end wall in the evening and onto the side wall during the day ,effective on the pale walls. You can view more work at Lustrousglass.com.
