This is a smallish panel (380mmx280mm) that I've just completed as a wedding gift for my sister.Mostly in flashed blue on clear and flashed red on clear,silver-stained for detail. There's also some Lamberts blue and yellow.Additionally the amber hair affair is some reclaimed Victorian silver-stained glass that's been sandblasted and painted and fired to good effect. have a look at some of my older posts if you will. And feel free to comment..

  1. What a special gift for your sister! Defenitely destined to become a family heirloom, and I love your vibrant colors...

  2. Thanks for the comment Janet, its appreciated

  3. Oh, Shane, what a gorgeous gift! Thank you so much - I'm delighted with it. It's a Shane Gallagher classic, all luminous colours and flowing curves, and I'm really looking forward to actually seeing it in the flesh (in the glass?) when we're back in Dublin in September. I'm deeply proud to have such a talented artist as a brother. It's wonderful to see all the technical details here and now I really want to see that sandblasted Victorian glass up close.
